My older son sews - he makes Renaissance costumes in his "spare" time. My younger son made quilt blocks and a lap quilt for his dad, but he turned out just fine. =) There's a beautiful quilt that was made by a former US president when he was younger, sitting with his dying mother.Susan https://www.blogger.com/profile/09159163720029661287noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33528927.post-48812032159688859292007-05-27T09:59:00.000-07:002007-05-27T09:59:00.000-07:00My son has already sewed his own quilt last month....My son has already sewed his own quilt last month. My sons are grown men who have jobs which require creative thinking. I like to think that their boyhood experiences in stitching contributed to the way their minds work as well as their broad viewpoints. We know there is a whole lot more to the making of anything than just the finished project.

If your son would like to see photos of other boys making quilts, come to my weblog and check out "kids sewing".Nellie's Needleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12468773469685787840noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33528927.post-57214063381939644922007-05-25T07:56:00.000-07:002007-05-25T07:56:00.000-07:00I am happy I have a girl:) I just wait to see the ...I am happy I have a girl:) I just wait to see the result, this photo shows a lot of determination!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33528927.post-64426323488096603882007-05-25T04:38:00.000-07:002007-05-25T04:38:00.000-07:00Tell Glenn that my son is 10 and he loves to quilt...Tell Glenn that my son is 10 and he loves to quilt too (I think he secretly thinks using the sewing machine pedal is like driving a car).Fionahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04378836466869691917noreply@blogger.com
